On May 26, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized an academic seminar on MUICT-AST The Series: “Basic Mandarin for Communication.” The session was honored by the presence of Lect. Dr. Kanoksak Wattanachote, an instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group, who served as the guest speaker to provide participants with foundational knowledge in Mandarin Chinese, including vocabulary, grammar, and practical conversation skills. The seminar was attended by ICT students in Room IT331, 3rd Floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The MUICT-AST The Series: “Basic Chinese for Communication” aimed to equip students with basic communication skills in Mandarin Chinese for everyday life. The seminar featured role-playing activities and speaking practice on various topics, such as basic vocabulary, the use of prepositions and adverbs, greetings and self-introductions, conversations in restaurants, making appointments, and transportation. These activities were designed to effectively enhance the participants’ basic listening and speaking skills in Mandarin Chinese.
