On August 15, 2025, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with the team of administrators and staff members of ICT Mahidol, extended a warm welcome to Assoc. Prof. Cherdchai Nopmaneejumruslers, M.D., Vice President for Information Technology and Digital Transformation, along with the working groups from the Information Technology Division and the Personal Data Protection Center, Mahidol University, on the occasion of the IT Visit to the Faculty of ICT. The activity was held in a hybrid format, with on-site sessions at Room IT404, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, and online via Webex Meetings.
The purpose of the visit was to evaluate and strengthen the information management and cybersecurity systems of the Faculty of ICT and Mahidol University, in line with international standards and best practices, including the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and the fundamental guidelines for cyber threat prevention, monitoring, and response provided by the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA). The visit also focused on compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and explored opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and advanced infrastructure from the Mahidol University AI Center (MU AI Center) to enhance efficiency in education, research, academic services, and Mahidol University’s medical and healthcare services.
