The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), would like to extend its sincere congratulations to ICT Mahidol faculty members on receiving the “National Research Award for Fiscal Year 2026” from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), as officially announced on 28 November 2025. The award recipients are as follows:
- NRCT Quality Achievement Award (Research), Information Technology and Communication Arts Discipline: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran, Chair of the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Computer Science, and Head of the Medical Informatics Research Clusters (MI) and the Machine Vision and Information Transfer Research Cluster (MVIT), together with the research team, for the research entitled “Development of Automatic Machine for Grade Assessment and Translucent Flesh Disorder Detection of Mangosteens from Capturing Images using Deep Learning and Image Processing based Approaches.”
- NRCT Quality Achievement Award (Dissertation), Information Technology and Communication Arts Discipline: Dr. Pattaraporn Sangaroonsilp, Instructor in the Computer Science Program and a member of the Software Engineering and Business Analytics Research Cluster (SEBA), for the thesis entitled “Supporting the Development and Management of Privacy-Aware Software Applications.”
- Invention Award (Good Level), Information Technology and Communication Arts Discipline: Assoc. Prof. Dittapong Songsaeng, M.D., Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natsuda Kaothanthong, Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Thammasat University; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Akara Supratak, Instructor in the Computer Science Group, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University, for the research entitled “CTnavi+ : Brain CT Scan Interpretation Program for Stroke and Hydrocephalus.”
