On August 7, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Miss Mayuret Yodkam, Head of The Academic Administration Office and Chair of the Committee on Document Handover and Disposal, together with Mrs. Uraiwan Rakgumnird, General Administration Officer, General Administration Division, and Mr. Somsak Tanasri, Head of The Building and Landscape Unit, Engineering and Facilities Division, represented the Faculty of ICT in the “Bringing Paper Back Home” project at Siam Kraft Industry Co., Ltd., Ratchaburi.
As part of the project, ICT Mahidol collected a total of 9,870 kilograms of used paper, which was exchanged for 515 reams of new paper. The newly acquired paper will be used to support various activities within the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University.
The “Bringing Paper Back Home” project aims to reduce paper waste, conserve natural resources, and lower greenhouse gas emissions by recycling used paper into valuable materials, in line with the concept of “Transforming Waste into Value.” This initiative reflects Mahidol University’s strong commitment to environmental sustainability and aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
