ICT Mahidol’s instructors, staff, and alumni participated in the award presentation ceremony to receive the “Mahidol University Researcher of the Year 2024,” the “Outstanding Young Alumni Awards,” and the “Outstanding University Staff Awards”

The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), extends its congratulations to the faculty members, staff, and alumni of ICT Mahidol who received awards at the “55 years of the royally bestowed name, 136 years of Mahidol University Establishment Ceremony,” held on March 2, 2024, at the Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya. The awards were presented by Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., the President of Mahidol University.

The awards received by faculty members, staff, and alumni of ICT Mahidol are as follows:

  • Mahidol University Researcher of the Year 2024: Rising Researcher in Science and Technology: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suppawong Tuarob, Instructor of Computer Science Academic Group, and Head of Machine Intelligence and Knowledge Engineering (MIKE) research group.
  • Mahidol University Young Alumni Award 2024: Dr. Pawitra Liamuk (ICT Alumna #Batch 2), Program Chair of B. Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program).
  • Mahidol University Young Alumni Award 2023: Mr. Chanakarn Chinchatchawal (ICT Alumnus #Batch 7), CEO and Founder of Robolingo Co., Ltd. (Zwiz.AI).
  • Outstanding University Staff Awards:
    • Assadarat Khurat, Assistant Dean for Risk Management and Cybersecurity, under the category University Staff (Academic Type); with a work period not exceeding 10 consecutive years
    • Pawitra Liamruk, Program Chair of B. Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), under the category University Staff; with a work period exceeding 10 consecutive years but not exceeding 20 years

Additionally, honorable pin awards were presented to university staff who have worked for 30, 20, 10, and 5 years:

  • 20 years of service: Mr. Manas Wattana, Audio-Visual Technical Officer from the Audio Visual and Digital Learning Media Development Department.
  • 10 years of service: Miss Sirirat Wittayakunsatid, Audio-Visual Technical Officer from the Audio Visual and Digital Learning Media Development Department.
  • 5 years of service: Mr. Patipat Chewprecha, Computer Technical Officer from the Information and Systems Department.

After the award ceremony, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean, along with Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Deputy Dean for Administration and Human Resources, and Mr. Akkasit Trunganont, the President of the MUICT Alumni Association, extended their congratulations to all faculty members, staff, and alumni who received awards.
