ICT Mahidol Organized a Training Session on “ICT Skill Development: Rainfall Alert and Weather Monitoring System Using IoT on ThingsBoard”

      On July 30, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized a training session on “ICT Skill Development: Rainfall Alert and Weather Monitoring System Using IoT on ThingsBoard” for students from Satriwitthaya 2 School under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother. The event took place in Rooms IT405 – IT406, 4th Floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus. On this occasion, Mr. Tamakorn Jiamrachada, Computer Technical Officer from the Technology Infrastructure Division, served as the speaker to share insightful knowledge with Mathayom 5 (Grade 11) students enrolled in the Special Program in Science, Mathematics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). A total of 36 students participated and were accompanied by 3 teachers. The training session concluded with closing remarks and souvenir presentation by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer.

      The training session on “ICT Skill Development: Rainfall Alert and Weather Monitoring System Using IoT on ThingsBoard” aimed to enhance knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in using IoT technology and data monitoring systems through the ThingsBoard platform. It was specifically organized for students from Satriwitthaya 2 School under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother. The program was designed to equip the students with the ability to effectively apply ICT knowledge in their learning, daily lives, and in the creative development of society.
