On September 22, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Associate Professor Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth, Program Chair of the Master of Science in Cyber Security and Information Assurance, together with Dr. Assadarat Khurat, Assistant Dean for Risk Management and Cybersecurity, both instructors of the course ITDS351 Advanced Cybersecurity, organized a special talk on “SOC, SIEM, SOAR and Incident Response” for third-year students in the B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program). On this occasion, Mr. Sumedt Jitpukdebodin, Incident Response Manager at Secure D Center Co., Ltd., served as the guest speaker, delivering insights into cybersecurity. He focused on the use of software for collecting and analyzing events from various information systems to detect anomalies or potential threats, as well as the application of automation systems to efficiently manage and respond to security incidents, thereby enhancing organizational defense and preparedness against cyber risks in the digital age. The session was held in Room IT331, 3rd floor, Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
