ICT Mahidol Participated in the Thailand International Game Showcase 2025 (TIGS2025)

On 23–24 August 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), participated in the “Thailand International Game Showcase 2025 (TIGS2025),” where it showcased innovative student game projects and highlighted the faculty’s academic programs in the TIGS University Zone at Paragon Hall, 5th Floor, Siam Paragon.

On this occasion, Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, together with Dr. Suradej Intagorn, Lecturer in the Computer Science Academic Group, led a team of ICT Mahidol students to showcase their game projects in the TIGS University Zone. They also joined a panel discussion on “The Future of Gaming”, alongside representatives from both the public and private sectors in the gaming industry, to exchange insights and experiences.

The “Thailand International Game Showcase 2025 (TIGS2025)”, organized by the Department of Cultural Promotion, Ministry of Culture, aimed to elevate Thailand’s gaming industry to the global stage, promote access to technological and cultural knowledge among youth and the general public through gaming, and support business networks in the creative and sustainable development of the Thai gaming industry.

TIGS2025 served as a significant platform for game developers, entrepreneurs, students, and gaming enthusiasts to showcase their capabilities, exchange experiences, and foster international collaborations. The event featured a diverse range of activities, including the TIGS Game Dev Zone, TIGS Board Game Zone, E-Sport Player & E-Sport Backstage Zone, Cosplayer Zone, and TIGS University Zone, as well as an international seminar stage.
