On July 13, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) organized “The Great Cybersecurity Club First Meet” for 91 students from the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) at Computer Laboratory IT105, ICT Mahidol, Salaya Campus.
The event was honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth, instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group and Program Chair of the M.Sc. in Cyber Security and Information Assurance, who serves as the club advisor, and delivered the opening speech. The main objective was to create a platform for students to exchange knowledge and experiences in cybersecurity through engaging activities such as learning about malware, cyberattacks, playing the “Bandit” game from the Overthewire website, and participating in a cybersecurity quiz.
The event was primarily led by Mr. Terat Burami, a fourth-year ICT student and the club’s vice president, together with the club committee members: Mr. Nattachai Mingrattikorn (third-year ICT), Mr. Pathompum Jirakarnpaisan (fourth-year ICT), and Miss Suphatchaya Aichum (fourth-year ICT), who contributed their knowledge and made the activities both educational and enjoyable throughout the day.
