ICT Mahidol Welcomed the Delegation from the AI-COSS Project, Republic of Korea, for Academic Collaboration Discussion

On April 4, 2025, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanapon Noraset, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jidapa Kraisangka, Assistant Dean for Academic and Curriculum Development, Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Boonsit Yimwadsana, Program Chair of the M.Sc. in Computer Science, welcomed the delegation from the AI-COSS Project, Republic of Korea, for the discussion on academic collaboration. The meeting was warmly hosted at A2 Meeting Room, 1st Floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

  • Park, Jongyoul, Director, AICOSS at the Seoul National University of Science and Technology, and Professor, Department of Applied Artificial Intelligence, Seoul National University of Science and Technology
  • Lee, Seungwon, Manager, AICOSS at Sungkyunkwan University

The purpose of the discussion was to explore opportunities for collaboration on academic exchanges related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) programs. Furthermore, the meeting served to introduce the instructors responsible for the AI-COSS Project from each participating university from the Republic of Korea. The AI-COSS Project is an initiative dedicated to the advancement of high-technology educational curricula, with the support from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea.

After the conclusion of the meeting, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jidapa Kraisangka, Assistant Dean for Academic and Curriculum Development, also led the delegation on a tour of the environmental landscape of Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
