Learning Moodle with Moodle e-learning

ABSTRACT :

Nowadays, the electronic learning (e-learning) system is widely implemented in many schools, universities, and companies. To encourage ubiquitous learning, the effective online learning sites should be implemented. Moodle which is a free and very popular course management system designed to help educators create online courses with opportunities for rich activities. Nevertheless, modifying Moodle to make it compatible and suitable with different purposes is very challenge since Moodle’s developers do not provide entire information about database and source code. Consequently, this research aims at studying the Moodle version 1.9.3 and making Moodle suitable for ICT program at Mahidol University.

The purpose of the research is to contribute Moodle help comprised of user help and database help. Moreover, the researchers create effective ICT course website. To get optimal resource utilization, maximize throughput, and minimize response time of the course web, Moodle clustering with load balancer have to be used. Moreover, Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) is applied to add more user-friendly.
