Abstract

Human Resource Department is responsible for recruitment, selection, training, development, and performance management to prepare new strategy resource for the organization. Any mistake in a Human Resource Department can cause damage within an organization. Document Management is an important issue that is the responsibility of a Human Resource Department. There are large volumes and various categories of documents that a Human Resource Department must manipulate. Consequently they require extensive labor resources to organize documents, which waste the assets of the organization. HRDMS is a new solution for managing documents in HR departments. HRDMS allows HR employees to upload HR documents, then the system will use predefined tags that are matched to content in each document. The match result will be shown as suggested tags, and the chosen tag will be recorded as metadata of each document which increases efficiency of the search function. Metadata is also used to identify related documents which were external sources of information for each document.
