Abstract

There exists many e-Learning authoring tools, encouraging authors to develop fantastic media for course content. Unlike other common authoring tools that mostly emphasize the course design, the e-Learning Automated Authoring

Tool use ADDIE, a systematic instructional design model, as a course development framework. Additionally, the Knowledge Repository is introduced to support automated content generating to improve the efficiency of the course development. The storyboard-like style is adopted as the interface of the course design and development automation process. Combining these parts with general authoring tools will result in an innovative way to develop effective e-Learning courses which can better promote the use of e-Learning for the next generation, Y, with the 21st century learning style.
