Abstract

We usually see many people use portable media players more frequently whenever they are walking, jogging, driving, etc., and the device that they use often is mobile phone since it seems to be another essential device to people life nowadays. In general, using media player can cause an interference when doing any activities, which can lead to severe damage caused by reckless of users themselves. The solution of these problems may be to apply the speech instruction function into the music player application. However, we see that many speech recognition applications available in market don’t support thai language as an input. Therefore, we inspire an idea to make a music player that can support the voice input command in thai language which smoothes interaction between users and the music player application. With interactive mobile music, users can find and play music with only one instruction spoken to the application. This application is implemented using the objective-c, the main language used to develop iphone applications. The media player in our imm application gathers the ipod library information, concepts, and methodology. The key important tool that is used in speech recognition is htk, open-source software from cambridge university. Therefore, we expect that our developed application will provide users a more convenient way of a more convenient way to enjoy listening to music anywhere and anytime.
