Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships under Australian Government

4 Types of Scholarships:

  • Postgraduate Scholarship (Master degree or PhD) [2 years (Master), 4 years (PhD)]
  • Research Fellowship [4 - 6 months]
  • Vocational Education and Training Scholarships [1 - 2.5 years]
  • Executive Fellowship (Professional Development) [1 - 4 months]

All recipients will receive:

  • travel allowance: $3,000
  • establishment allowance: $2,000 (Fellowships) or $4,000 (Scholarships)
  • monthly stipend: $3,000
  • health insurance for the full programme duration
  • travel insurance

[Living Cost: Accommodation, meals, transport, etc. A $ 1,500 – 1,800 per month]

1. Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship
  • Master’s degree [2 years] or PhD [4 years]

Eligibility:

  • Completed an undergraduate degree with high academic achievement.
  • Gained admission to a master or PhD course in Australia.
  • English language proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL IBT 90
2. Endeavour Research Fellowship
  • Short term postgraduate or postdoctoral research
  • 4 - 6 months duration

Eligibility:

  • Must currently be enrolled in a Master or PhD course or have completed a PhD course.
  • Have completed an undergraduate degree with high academic achievement.
  • Nominated by host organization-institution.
  • Written confirmation from the host organization/institution that their English language is suitable for the program
3. Endeavour VET Scholarship (Vocational Education and Training)
  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree
  • 1 - 2.5 years duration

Eligibility:

  • Completed an undergraduate degree with high academic achievement.
  • Must have applied and gained admission to a course at Australian VET institution.
  • English language proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL IBT 90
4. Endeavour Executive Fellowship
  • Provide professional development opportunities of high achieves in business, industry, academia or government.
  • Focus on building skills and knowledge through work environment.
  • Design your own program (e.g. work placement, conference attendance, peer-to-peer learning).
  • 1 - 4 months duration

Eligibility:

  • Completed an undergraduate degree with high academic achievement.
  • Minimum of five years full-time or equivalent relevant work experience is highly desirable.
  • Nominated by host organization.
  • Written confirmation from the host organization/institution that their English language is suitable for the program

Application period: April to 30 June, 2015 (for study commencing in 2016)
