On September 17, 2025, Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Deputy Dean for Administration and Human Resource at the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), in his capacity as a member of the Sub-Working Group Committee of MU Health Promotion at Mahidol University, together with Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Deputy Dean for Organizational Development and Special Affairs, along with the Happiness-Enhancing Working Group of ICT Mahidol, organized a booth titled “ICT 001 : The Shaking Belt Survival” in the “Health Booth Zone” at the “Healthy University Day – HEALTHY MAHIDOL in the New Normal 2025” event. The event was held at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The opening ceremony was graciously presided over by Professor Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University, and the objectives of the event were presented by Associate Professor Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD) and Secretary-General of the ASEAN University Network – Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN). The event aimed to provide knowledge and encourage health-promoting activities for Mahidol University staff and students.
The event featured various activities, including exhibition boards and infographic media showcasing knowledge on health and well-being of staff and students, as well as health booths from different faculties/institutes providing information and organizing health-promoting activities. A highlight of the event was the “MOVE OR LOSE MU HEALTHY CHALLENGE”, an activity inspired by the concept of Squid Game and adapted into a health-themed obstacle competition, which invited staff members from all faculties/institutes of Mahidol University to participate.
On this occasion, five staff members of the Faculty of ICT joined the “MOVE OR LOSE MU HEALTHY CHALLENGE”, namely Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Mr. Itthiphol Makkappalanon, Ms. Kanyasorn Sudsangiem, Ms. Kessarin Thoithat, and Ms. Duanghathai Pangjiklee, who successfully won 2nd Place in the “Healthy Challenger Award”.
The exhibition on “Healthy University Day – HEALTHY MAHIDOL in New Normal 2025” was hosted by the Sub-Working Group Committee of MU Health Promotion at Mahidol University. Its primary objective was to enhance the capacity of Mahidol University staff and students by providing them with knowledge, understanding, and skills in self-care and health management. The event also aimed to encourage active participation in building a “Healthy University”, thereby fostering a sustainable culture of well-being across the faculties and institutions within Mahidol University. Moreover, the event sought to implement Mahidol University’s health promotion policy and strengthen its position as an international model of a health-promoting university.
