ICT Mahidol Participated in the “9th Safety Day: Campaign for Occupational Health and Safety”

On April 28, 2025, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), participated in the “9th Safety Day: Campaign for Occupational Health and Safety,” organized by the Center for Occupational Safety, Health and Workplace Environment Management (COSHEM), Mahidol University. The event was presided over by Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ittichote Chuckpaiwong, Vice President for Infrastructure and Environment, Mahidol University, delivered the opening remarks at the Foyer of the Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

On this occasion, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean of ICT Mahidol, along with faculty members and staff, received the outstanding level certificate of the “2024 Safe Educational Institute,” marking the 8th consecutive year that ICT Mahidol has been recognized for excellence in safety standards. Additionally, ICT Mahidol received a symbolic token of commitment to safety from Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University, and the “MU Safety Standard Certificate 2024” from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sittiwat Lertsiri, Vice President of Mahidol University.

The “9th Safety Day: Campaign for Occupational Health and Safety” was organized by COSHEM on April 28 to coincide with the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. This annual event aimed to raise awareness among Mahidol University staff and students regarding occupational health and safety practices within the workplace and learning environment. The event also emphasized the importance of adhering to safety, occupational health, and working environment measures. Furthermore, it provided an opportunity for the exchange of knowledge on safety practices, prevention, and emergency preparedness at the faculty level, while also recognizing faculties and staff who serve as role models in promoting university-wide safety practices.
