ICT Mahidol organizes the “ICT Summer Camp 2024″for high school students

From March 20th to 22nd, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) organized the “ICT Summer Camp 2024” for 39 high school students in the 11th and 12th grades nationwide. On this occasion, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean, delivered a warm welcome speech to all students at the Bits & Bytes Hall, 4th floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University.

The “ICT Summer Camp 2024” aimed to promote and support high school students in acquiring essential knowledge and skills in information technology necessary for the current era, as well as critical thinking skills. Additionally, it aimed to empower students to utilize the skills, knowledge, and experiences gained from the activities to advance their education at the undergraduate level.

Throughout the 3-day event, there were various activities and sessions as follows:

  • March 20, 2024: Team-building activities by the ICT Recreational Student Team and “English for Fun” activity by Mr. Stephen Smith, Student and Alumni Engagement Officer, at the Bits & Bytes Hall, 4th Following that, training on “Frontend User Interface by using Figma” by Mr. Prach Chaisiri, Computer Technical Officer from Information and Systems Department, was held at Room IT203, 2nd floor.
  • March 21, 2024: Training on “Web Full Stack & Tools Installation” by Dr. Wudhichart Sawangphol, Assistant Dean for Research, and “Basic Web Programming (HTML5+CSS) & Design Portfolio” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Jidapa Kraisangka, Assistant Dean for Academic and Curriculum Development, were held at Room IT203, 2nd
  • March 22, 2024: Training on “JavaScript & Design Portfolio” by Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, was held at Room IT203, 2nd After the training sessions, the staff, ICT Recreational Student Team, accompanied the students for the campus tour. Following that, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jidapa Kraisangka, Assistant Dean for Academic and Curriculum Development, introduced information on the curriculum of Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) to all students. Lastly, certificates were presented to the students at the Bits & Bytes Hall, 4th floor, Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University.
