On September 6–7, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), held the “Mahidol Open House 2025” under the theme “Ducky Dice.” The event provided an opportunity for students, high school teachers, and parents to learn more about ICT Mahidol, explore the faculty, and interact with current students and faculty members. The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of ICT Mahidol, who delivered welcoming remarks, offered encouragement to the student organizing team, and wished the MUICT Open House 2025 a successful conclusion.
On this occasion, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat also attended the opening ceremony on September 6, 2025. The ceremony was presided over by Professor Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University, who delivered the opening remarks. He was joined by the University’s executive team, who extended greetings and visited the booths of various faculties at the Prince Mahidol Hall Conference Center, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus. This year, the Mahidol Open House was held under the theme “Real World Impact Begins at…Mahidol.”
Held at the Faculty of ICT Building, Mahidol University, the MUICT Open House 2025 was organized into three main activity zones:
- Registration Zone: Event information, recreational activities and a music performance by ICT students at the Innovative Space, 1st
- Program Recommendations Zone:Guidance and information on undergraduate programs: B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), as well as graduate programs: M.Sc. in Computer Science, M.Sc. in Game Technology and Gamification, and M.Sc. in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. The session also covered short-term exchange opportunities in Japan, Taiwan, Germany, Austria and Malaysia for ICT students, along with domestic IT internships for DST students. Activities were held at the Bits & Bytes Hall, 4th floor.
- Senior Project & ICT Club Zone:An exhibition featuring the various student clubs of the Faculty of ICT, along with displays of Senior Projects and student research. The activities took place at the Grand Auditorium Hall, 4th floor.
Moreover, on September 7, 2025, the Faculty of ICT also conducted an academic guidance session, introducing the ICT International Program and the DST Thai Program, as well as providing information on student admissions for the 2026 academic year to parents, students, and other interested participants. The session was honored by Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, who delivered the presentation at the Prince Mahidol Hall Conference Center, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
Throughout the two-day event, over 3,800 participants attended. The Faculty of ICT sincerely extends its gratitude to the parents, students, and visitors who showed interest in the programs and activities. Special appreciation is also given to the organizing team from all departments, as well as to the students, for their dedication in making the event a success.
