ICT Mahidol welcomed delegates from National Central University (NCU), Republic of China (Taiwan), on the occasion of their visit to organize workshops for students

During April 1 –  3, 2024, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Tantidham, Instructor of the Computer Science Group, and Mr. Tamakorn Jiamrachada, Computer Technical Officer from the Technology Infrastructure Department,welcomed delegates from National Central University (NCU), Republic of China (Taiwan), on the occasion of their visit to organize workshops for ICT Mahidol students who are participating in the internship program at NCU this year. The delegates included Professor Chih-Lin Hu from the Department of Communication Engineering, as well as master’s students from NCU. The session took place in Room A2, 1st floor, ICT Faculty, Mahidol University, Salaya.

Throughout the three days, delegates from NCU, in collaboration with MUICT Maker Club conducted workshops covering various topics:

  • April 1st, 2024: Introduction to MUICT Maker Club
  • April 2nd, 2024: Earthquake Sensing Box of Smart Home Appliance Control and Intelligent Penghu Travel Information
  • April 3rd, 2024: Self-Organizing Hopping Network and Car view

The objective of these workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions was to prepare selected students for participation in the internship program at National Central University (NCU), Republic of China (Taiwan, scheduled for this summer from June 4th to July 31st, 2024. Additionally, guidance and ideas for research projects that students could collaborate on with NCU during the internship program were also presented.
