ICT Mahidol organized the “ICT Skills Enhancement Course for Students under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn”

On April 3, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized the project the “ICT Skills Enhancement Course for Students under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.” On this occasion, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean, delivered a warm welcome speech to 130 students in Lab 103 – 104, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya.

The objective of this project was to promote and support students in developing advanced ICT skills beyond regular classroom learning, and enhancing their critical thinking skills systematically. It also aimed to enable participants to utilize the skills, knowledge, and experiences gained from the training to enhance their future learning.

Throughout the event, various activities were conducted:

  • A campus tour around Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, including a visit to Archive and Museum, at the Mahidol Learning Center
  • Guidance session for further education at Mahidol University:
    – Dr. Chanokporn Puapattanakun, Director of the Center for Life-integrated Learning, Mahidol University, provided information on teaching and learning curricula at Mahidol University.
    – Asst. Prof. Dr. Jidapa Kraisangka, Assistant Dean for Academic and Curriculum Development, introduced information on the curriculum of Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program).
  • Training session on “Prompt Engineering for Everyone” by Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer

After the completion of the training, Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, presented certificates to the participating students.
