The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) congratulates 3 teams of 3rd years students from the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), for winning prizes from the “Hackathon: MU My Mind App Challenge,” the competition which aimed to advance innovative application to promote the mental well-being of adolescents. The competition took place on November 6, 2023 at the MaSHARES Co-Working & Maker Space, Mahidol University, Salaya. The details of the awards are as follows:
- First Prize with a cash reward of 20,000 Baht: Team Echo, consisting of Miss Rasarin Aimrattanakiri, Miss Supichaya Jongpeemwatthana, Miss Chaninun Petchpankan, Miss Nisakorn Ngawsri, and Miss Sasorong Phanchajcharoen.
- First Runner-up Prize with a cash reward of 10,000 Baht: Team Flaming Pot, comprising of Miss Sushawapak Kancharoendee, Mr. Poramet Kaewpradub, Thanat Phichitphanphong, and Mr. Sarttra Prasongtichol, ICT Mahidol students, together with, Miss Phanicha Vongwanthawi, a student from the Faculty of Science, Mahidol University
- Second Runner-up Prize with a cash reward of 5,000 Baht: Team FEEL FEEL JOY JOY, comprising of Mr. Kongphob Wutthiumphol, Mr. Jirateep Rudeerudchanawong, Miss Chalisa Sae-Ngow, Miss Pachanitha Sae-Heng, as well as Miss Chutweeraya Sriwilailak.
The “Hackathon: MU My Mind App Challenge” competition was organized by the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (iNT), Mahidol University. The competition aimed to encourage Mahidol University students with skills or interests in mobile application development, website applications, and creative ideas to participate and elevate the “MU My Mind App,” an application designed to support mental health, prevent psychological illnesses, and enhance the mental well-being of adolescents. This application was invented and developed by the Department of Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing in the Faculty of Nursing at Mahidol University.
