ICT Mahidol Dean served as a committee for the ultimate round of the “MUIC – Young Tech Creator (myTech) Challenge 2022” under the concept, “The Future University”

On 27 August 2022 – Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), served as a committee for the ultimate round of the “MUIC – Young Tech Creator (myTech) Challenge 2022”, under the concept “The Future University”. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Chulathida Chomchai, Dean of Mahidol University International College (MUIC), delivered an opening speech to all participants. The competition was also attended by executives, distinguished guests, and 5 teams of high school students at True Digital Park, Bangkok.

The result for the ultimate round were as follows:

  • Team Ai Ma Si Korn, from Mahidol University International Demonstration School (MUIDS), won the 1st prize: a scholarship of 50,000 baht, a plaque, and a certificate.
  • Team Aventurine, from Assumption Samutprakarn School, won the 2nd prize: a scholarship of 30,000 baht, a plaque, and a certificate.
  • Team Eighteen Crowns, from Bangkok Christian College, won the 3rd prize: a scholarship of 10,000 baht, a plaque, and a certificate.
  • Team Thinks Easy, Lives Better and Team Trimosphere, from Bangkok Christian College, won honorable awards, plaques, and certificates.

The goals were to give high school students an opportunity to innovate, create, and develop their work under the topic “The Use of Technology for Solving the University’s Future Needs”. It also served as a stage for the youth to learn and exchange ideas in developing innovations, as well as to effectively enhance their science, liberal arts, design, and communication skills.
