On October 2, 2023 – Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), along with the university’s executive team, took part in the opening ceremony of the “Sustainability Expo 2023 (SX 2023)”. The executive team included Clinical Prof. Emeritus Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn, M.D. (Chairman of University Council), Assoc. Prof. Sompop Prathanturarug (Vice President for Planning, Quality Development, and Academic Services), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuthamanee Suthisisang (Acting Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development), Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan (Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat (Director of the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management), Assoc. Prof. Chusak Kijkunasathian, Deputy Dean for Policy, and Prof. Suradej Hongeng, the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, as well as Assoc. Prof. Nuntakorn Thongtang, Deputy Dean of Special Affairs and Corporate Relations, the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital.
The Sustainability Expo 2023 is being held for the fourth consecutive year. This year, it is scheduled to take place from September 29th to October 8th, 2023. The concept of this event is “Sufficiency for Sustainability,” inspired by the royal guidance of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun and the principles of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, a royal initiative of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great. The event includes exhibitions, seminars, and knowledge-sharing sessions on sustainable development innovations, along with educational activities for youth.
