ICT Mahidol students, members of “Team Java is Pain” whose game project “Borrow Time Tactic”, won the 1st runner up award from Fit Game Jam 2022

The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), would like to express our congratulations to the members of “Team Java is Pain”: Mr. Nawat Ngern-Anantaporn, 2nd year student, Mr. Poramet Kaewpradub, 3 year student of B. Sc. in Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT International Program), Mr. Rawit J.Jitcharoenchai, and Mr. Nawapon Nathong, 3rd year students of B.A. in Social Communication Innovation, Majoring in Interactive and Multimedia Design, College of Social Communication Innovation, Srinakharinwirot University, whose game project “Borrow Time Tactic”, won the 1st runner up award from Fit Game Jam 2022 (Fine Arts Game Jam 2022), held by Ministry of Culture, Fine Arts Department at the Office of the Fine Arts Department, Bangkok, on 4th July, 2022. The team received a trophy and a 12,000 THB prize money as rewards.

All contestants in the “Fit Game Jam 2022” were given 48 hours to create a cultural game using various technologies and interactive media provided by the Fine Arts Department. In this competition, the Team Java is Pain developed the game, “Borrow Time Tactic” by using Thai literature components to create the game: using the concept of “Traiphum Phra Ruang” to create game characters, using important tourist attractions such as Wat Yai Chaimongkol to build game scenario and using Thai Trident and Chakra as the game weapons.
