On 9 February 2023 – Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with Prof. Dr. Peter Fereed Haddawy, Deputy Dean for Research, Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran, Instructor and Head of Machine Vision and Information Transfer Lab (MVIT), as well as Miss Punyanuch Borwarnginn, Ph.D. student of Computer Science Program, welcomed Dr. Mohamed Nordin Bin Zakaria, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Toni Anwar, Dr. Kwang Hooi Yew from the Faculty of Sciences and Information Technology, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), as well as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norehan Binti Mokhtar, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Fatanah Binti Mohamad Suhaimi, and Dr. Juzailah Binti Roffie from Advanced Medical and Dental Institute, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia. Both parties discussed academic and research collaboration, as well as student mobility, during the visit in Room IT404, Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya.
Following the academic and research discussion, the Dean led all delegates to faculty facilities such as the Co-Working Space, Smart Classroom, Computer Laboratories, and MU AI Center. In addition, Prof. Dr. Peter Haddawy took them to MIRU Lab and gave them a presentation about related research.
