Mahidol University conducted the “MU Open House 2019” on November 1-2, 2019 which aim to promote the university to public, as well as provide opportunities to prospective students to receive more information, and experience in actual environment of the university and its faculties. Mean while, the university also wishes to encourage pride and solidarity among staff and students from organizing activities together.
The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) joined the event holding its “ICT Open House 2019” under the theme “The Quests of Olympus”, providing participants to win prizes by discovering 5 hidden objects in this Mount Olympus at the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya campus. The event was led by Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the dean, along with lecturers, faculty staff and students.
Within the event, there were many interesting activities including students’ project exhibitions, internship information, student exchange programs information and special talk show from Garena Thailand and ICT Mahidol alumni.
The highlight activities were as follows:
MUICT Activity Booth – In the booth, participants were given opportunities to learn about IT through mini games provided such as Battleship, Lightbot and Error Detection
MUICT Clubs – Clubs information such as MUICT CTF Club and MUICT Basketball Club was given.
MUICT Guidance – Guidelines for studying ICT’s 8 major tracks were advised by ICT current students.
MUICT Project Exhibition – Students’ projects that have been awarded both in domestic and international such as MANSAI, RECKON VENTURE, GlaucoVIZ were presented.
The event was successful as there was a large number of prospective students registered and joined this annual event.
