ICT Mahidol instructors organized a training program titled “Basic Biometric Data Knowledge in the Form of Verification and Identification Comparison for Ministry of Foreign Affairs Personnel”

On September 29, 2023 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran, ICT Mahidol Instructor and Head of Machine Vision and Information Transfer Research Lab (MVIT Lab), together with Mr. Kittikhun Thongkanchorn, Computer Technical Officer (Senior Professional Level), as the representatives of the advisory team to the project responsible for the production and provision of the electronic passport (E-Passport), 3rd phrase, organized a training program titled “Basic Biometric Data Knowledge in the Form of Verification and Identification Comparison for Ministry of Foreign Affairs Personnel”.

The training program aimed to provide fundamental knowledge of Biometrics, including its usage, techniques, and technical processes. It covered international standard comparisons and examples of various biometric data, such as facial photographs, fingerprint patterns, and eye images, to Ministry of Foreign Affairs personnel, held in the meeting room of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
