ICT Mahidol, together with TDGA, organized a training course, “DGA104: Cybersecurity Fundamentals”

On 9 – 10 June 2022 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with Thailand Digital Government Academy (TDGA), organized a training course, “DGA104: Cybersecurity Fundamentals” for 13 interested persons at Computer Laboratory, ICT Building, Salaya campus. On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sudsanguan Ngamsuriyaroj, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth, Dr. Songpon Teerakanok, Dr. Dolvara Guna-Tilaka, and Dr. Assadarat Khurat, instructors, served as keynote speakers who conveyed knowledge about corporate information system security, laws related to government agencies, organizational process analysis, “Zero Trust Security” concept, cyber security technology, basic cybersecurity customization on computer and mobile, as well as risk assessment and proper management when  cyber threats occur.

The course, “DGA104: Cybersecurity Fundamentals” aimed to make participants understand the importance of cybersecurity, as well as to have knowledge and understanding of various types of cyber threats, particularly those that are currently causing concern. It also encouraged participants to have a basic understanding of how to protect themselves precisely and timely from future cyber threats.  In addition, it also focused on providing participants knowledge and understanding on risk management and risk assessment of the information system.
