ICT Mahidol instructor won “2020 The Giver Award: The Happiness Giver by Living with Nature”

On January 14, 2021, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ananta Srisuphab, instructor of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) won “2020 the Giver Award, Branch 1: The Happiness Giver by Living with Nature”, held by Mahidol Volunteer Center.

The winners from the 2020 the Giver Award were selected from ones who participated in the “2020 Mahidol Day of Service”, an event which allowed all participants to do a simple act or service to benefit others, and share it on online platform. The objective of this event was to build the good deeds society to serve the Royal wish of Mahitala Dhibesra Adulyadej Vikrom, the Prince Father, “We must take our personal benefits as secondary, and benefits of the mankind as priority. Fortune, wealth and honor will return to you if you admire the Dhamma of profession.”

Asst. Prof. Dr. Ananta Srisuphab participated in this event by biking to pick up trash from the roadside in Khao Yai National Park. As a result, he was selected to win the award under “Branch 1: The Happiness Giver by Living with Nature”. Apart from this, there were 8 branches of awards as follows:

  • Branch 1: The Happiness Giver by Living with Nature
  • Branch 2: The Happiness Giver by Performing Work
  • Branch 3: The Happiness Giver by Exercising
  • Branch 4: The Happiness Giver by Being a Part of Community
  • Branch 5: The Happiness Giver by Doing Art
  • Branch 6: The Happiness Giver by Doing Volunteer
  • Branch 7: The Happiness Giver by Developing Spirituality
  • Branch 8: The Happiness Giver by Learning Something
