ICT Mahidol students organized the “ICT X DST Songkran Festival: Temple Fair Happy Songkran Festival”

On April 12, 2023 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with students who have received One-Year Partial Scholarships (Student Activities), including students of B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program): Miss Napida Chongcharoenkit (4th Year), Miss Atchaya Srimongkolthana and Mr. Navaplud Saimool (3rd Year), Miss Penpitchapa Pantaraksakul and Miss Piangfa Boonkaew (2nd Year), as well as a student of B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program): Mr. Yuttapichai Promnok (2nd Year), organized the “ICT X DST Songkran Festival: Temple Fair Happy Songkran Festival” at the Innovative Space, the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya.

The objectives of this event were to promote the conservation of Thai culture and traditions, as well as to foster bonds between senior and junior students from both ICT and DST programs, as well as faculty members. The event includes activities that celebrate Thai traditions such as pouring water and asking for blessings from the representatives of the faculty including Lect. Pagaporn Pengsart, Deputy Dean for Infrastructure and Technology; Dr. Thanapon Noraset, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs; Dr. Jidapa Kraisangka, Assistant Dean for Academic and Curriculum Development; Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer; and Mr. Brian Marcar, Foreign Language Instructor. Many activities such as singing, dancing, eating, and playing games were held during the event, all in the setting of a Thai temple fair.
