ICT Mahidol instructor and staff served as guest speakers on the training, “Happy U. for Teens into Design”

On January 26, 2024 – Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Deputy Dean for Administration and Human Resources, together with Miss Sirirat Wittayakunsatid, Audio-Visual Technical Officer from the Audio-Visual and Digital Learning Media Development Department, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), served as guest speakers on the training, “Happy U. for Teens into Design.” The objective of the event was to provide insights into various aspects of well-being and raise awareness among students from the 9 affiliated universities under “Happy University” regarding current situations and issues. The training session took place at the Asawin Grand Convention Hotel in Bangkok.

This training program which was supported by the Thai Health Promotion Foundation, was organized by the Happy University Academic Centre towards Sustainable Health Promotion, and the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University. The training was given to students from the 9 affiliated universities under “Happy University” including Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, Suranaree University of Technology, Mahidol University, Dhonburi Rajabhat University, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, Phetchabun Rajabhat University, Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University, and King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.

The main objective of the training program was to provide student representatives with knowledge on various well-being aspects, such as physical wellness and emotional wellness. Additionally, it aimed to enhance essential skills for developing activities or plans to promote health, happiness, and quality of life among peers and students within their respective universities. This initiative supports the creation of an environmentally friendly intellectual system, promoting the well-being university model for sustainable well-being organizations in the future.
