ICT Mahidol organized a training program on “2023 Enhancing ICT Skills: Multimedia Technology and AI for High School Students of Kanchanapisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom School (Pratamnak Suankularb Matthayom), Round 2”

On November 18, 2023, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), in collaboration with Kanchanapisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom School (Pratamnak Suankularb Matthayom), conducted a training program on “2023 Enhancing ICT Skills: Multimedia Technology and AI for High School Students of Kanchanapisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom School (Pratamnak Suankularb Matthayom), Round 2.” The welcoming speeches were delivered by Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Deputy Dean for Administration and Human Resource, representing the ICT Mahidol Dean, and Dr. Kamolchanok Parkpoom, Head of Teaching and Learning Supervision at Kanchanapisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom School. Additionally, Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, speakers from ICT Mahidol, and teachers from Kanchanapisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom School (Pratamnak Suankularb Matthayom) were present at the opening ceremony, held at the Innovative Space, 1st floor of the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya.

The training series, “Enhancing ICT Skills,” is part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Faculty of ICT and Kanjana Pitak Wittayalai School, Nakhon Pathom (Phra Tamnak Suankaewphul Witthayalai). Its main objectives include promoting and supporting students in acquiring advanced knowledge in information and technology, enabling them to apply the skills, knowledge, and experiences gained through training for their future learning. Additionally, the project aims to enhance students’ critical thinking abilities through project-based and problem-based learning approaches.

The trainings took place on November 18, 25, and December 2, 2023, in the computer laboratories: IT104 and IT105. A total of 60 students participated, and various topics were taught during the series as follows:

  • On Saturday, November 18, 2023, the training covered two topics. The first one was “Spline 3D” by Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, the Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, together with Dr. Pilailuck Panphattarasap, Instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group. Another one was a training and workshop on “Digital Photography & Media” led by Miss Sirirat Wittayakunsatid, Audio-Visual Technical Officer.
  • On Saturday, November 25, 2023, the training will cover the topic “Cybersecurity” by Dr. Assadarat Khurat, Assistant Dean for Risk Management and Cybersecurity, as well as Dr. Songpon Teerakanok, Instructor of the Computer Science Academic Group.
  • On Saturday, December 2, 2023, the training topic will be “UX/UI” by Lect. Kanrawi Kitkhachonkunlaphat, Instructor of the Computer Science Academic Group, as well as a training and workshop on “Digital Photography & Media” led by Miss Sirirat Wittayakunsatid, Audio-Visual Technical Officer.
