ICT Mahidol, together with its collaborative partners under the project “Center of Excellence in AI-Based Medical Diagnosis (AI-MD)”, organized Mahidol AI Talk #4

On June 7, 2023 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with its collaborative partners under the project “Center of Excellence in AI-Based Medical Diagnosis (AI-MD)”, organized Mahidol AI Talk #4. At the beginning of the event, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, ICT Mahidol Dean, delivered a welcome speech to all attendees in Room AI 2, MU AI Center, Faculty of ICT, Salaya, as well as via Webex Meetings.

The guest speakers for the event were Assoc. Prof. Duangdao Wichadakul, Instructor of Computer Science Department, the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, ICT Mahidol Dean, Dr. Sipat Triukose from Big Data Analytics and IoT Center, Chulalongkorn University (CUBIC). They presented “AI for Medicine” to audiences consisting of instructors, staff, students, and other interested individuals. Following the presentations, there was a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, as well as Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, the Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology.

The “Mahidol AI Talk Series” seminar was a collaboration project between Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) and collaborative partners under the project “Center of Excellence in AI-Based Medical Diagnosis (AI-MD),” which is supported by the Reinventing University System. The seminar is scheduled to be held every two months starting from September 2022 – September 2023.
