The team consists of Mr. Poramat Jaratdamrong, a Master Degree student in Game Technology and Gamification, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran, ICT Mahidol Instructor and Head of Machine Vision and Information Transfer Research Lab (MVIT Lab), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Weerawat Limroongreungrat, Deputy Dean for Research Academic Service and International Relations, College of Sports Science, Mahidol University.

The “Mobile Application of Movement Function Analysis” is a mobile phone application that can predict and diagnose the physical fitness and fall risk of elderly individuals based on the analysis of two physical exercises: the 5 Times Sit-to-Stand and the Time Up-and-Go. This application utilizes AI Conceptual Algorithm to automatically detect the movements of elderly individuals through the camera of a mobile phone and converts the recorded time and motion images into results that indicate their current physical fitness.

The “Sport Science Innovation Contest 2023” is an annual event aimed at promoting the abilities and creative thinking of teachers, professors, students, and the general public. It also serves as a platform for showcasing innovations and technologies related to sports science that benefit public health and physical fitness.
