7 research projects from ICT Mahidol won ‘National Research Award, Fiscal Year 2024’, held by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT)

The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) would like to extend its congratulations to its instructors, students, and alumni, as their 7 research projects have been awarded the ‘National Research Award for Fiscal Year 2024’ by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). This announcement was made on October 6, 2023.

The papers which received awards are as follows:

Outstanding Research Awards in Information Technology and Communication Arts:

  • Research entitled, “A Retrospective Study of 3D Deep Learning Approach Incorporating Coordinate Information to improve the Segmentation of Pre- and Post-operative Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm” by Prof. Dr. Thanongchai Siriapisith, M.D., Department of Radiology, the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, together with Prof. Dr. Peter Haddawy, Deputy Dean for Research, as well as Assoc.
