ICT Mahidol students were awarded the Sakura Science Exchange Program Scholarships to participate in a research internship program at Software Engineering Lab, Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Japan

During 9 – 23 January 2023 – 4th year students of B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol): Mr. Thanakit Maneesawas, Software Engineering Track, Mr. Komsan Kongwongsupak, Computer Science Track, as well as Miss Natpichsinee Puttiwarodom, Database and Intelligent Systems Track, were awarded the Sakura Science Exchange Program Scholarships, supported by Japan Science and Technology Agency, to participate in a research internship program at Software Engineering Lab, Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Japan. During the awarding, the students were accompanied by Dr. Chaiyong Ragkhitwetsagul, and Dr. Morakot Choetkiertikul.

During their research internship programs, all students worked on the research internship entitled, “JSCEFR: Studying Javascript Code Competency levels in React modules,” which was supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanwadee Sunetnanta, Dr. Chaiyong Ragkhitwetsagul, and Dr. Morakot Choetkiertikul ICT Mahidol instructors and instructors of Software Engineering and Business Analytics Research Clusters (SEBA). They were also co-supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Raula Gaikovina Kula, Prof. Kenichi Matsumoto, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Bodin Chinthanet from NAIST, Japan. The objective of it was to study the code competency of a JavaScript-based software project (JavaScript).
