ICT Mahidol welcomed a delegate from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia, for a visit to discuss cooperation in research and postgraduate education

Between November 8 and 9, 2023, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) welcomed Professor Eryk Dutkiewicz, Associate Dean (International) of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia, for his visit to the Faculty of ICT at Mahidol University, Salaya. On this occasion, Professor Eryk Dutkiewicz introduced both undergraduate and graduate programs of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, including admission criteria, program structure, as well as teaching and learning. In addition, the two parties discussed research and collaboration in postgraduate education.

On November 8, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth (Program Chair of the M.Sc. in Cyber Security and Information Assurance), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran (Program Chair of the Ph.D. in Computer Science), and Dr. Assadarat Khurat, Assistant Dean for Risk Management and Cybersecurity, welcomed the delegate. They presented him with the overall information of ICT Mahidol’s postgraduate programs and research in various topics, including Cyber Security, IoT, Blockchain, etc. They also discussed the possibilities of a collaborative Ph.D. program. The discussion took place in Room A1.

Additionally, on November 9, 2023, Prof. Dr. Peter Haddawy, Deputy Dean for Research, and Lect. Snit Sanghlao, Assistant Dean for Engineering and Environment, represented the Dean in welcoming him and presenting the Dual Ph.D. Degree collaboration between ICT Mahidol and the University of Bremen, Germany. Moreover, they discussed research collaboration in various areas in Room IT 122.
